We are more than just a lab here at OAS.
We are a part of the community and support STEM as much as we possibly can.
We are surrounded by chemists and a diverse team of chemists at that!
We have many enquiries from students from around the world asking if we can help with various analysis. Situations include:
- Not having access (or regular access to equipment) and wanting us to run prepared samples
- Asking for support with method development
- Asking for access to equipment
- Asking for general advice, mentoring or consultancy
- Asking us to prepare and analysis various quantities of samples on their behalf
Unlike universities we don’t get fees paid or subsidies, so there is a cost to what we do, but for students we heavily discount it.
We have a range of equipment and chemistry skills and will always help where we can. If you have a specific budget let us know and we will see what we can work out for you.
We love building relationships with universities and students, and the best part in doing that is it forms a relationship for future employment too!
We help all manner of students from Batchelors to PhD level and have many of our own that have been where you are.
